About: Our Team

Joe is the co-founder of Sign Tech International, a sign company based in Austin, Texas. Started in 1997 with no capital, the company grew to over $10 million in less than 10 years. STI recently merged with Facility Solutions Group, a 300 million dollar electrical contracting and supply company.

Joe’s role at Sign Tech was sales management and systems development for the company. His crazy passion for organizing businesses, creating marketing plans and designing tools and forms led to the creation of Sign Tracker.

Joe loves to bike, read, and hang out with his wife and kids.

James was a 20 year veteran of the Information Technology industry when he joined Sign Tech as IT Manager. Having been an IT manager at a few mental institutions the sign industry seemed a natural fit. The “if you can’t beat ‘em…” approach came full circle when he took over support and technical sales for Sign Tracker.

Being completely sucked into the sign industry, James is now the primary “technical” consultant for Sign Tracker’s business consulting team as well as being integrally involved in sales, support and ongoing product development.

Robert is the co-founder of Sign Tech International, a sign company based in Austin, Texas. Started in 1997 with no capital, the company grew to over $10 million in less than 10 years.

Robert’s role at Sign Tech was operations management and systems development for the company. In his opinion no sign is too hard to build....you think it, we build it. Robert has worked in sign shops for his entire working career and loves it!

Robert and his 2 boys are baseball fanatics and play on several teams. He loves biking, baseball and spending time with his family.

Liz was Office Manager at Sign Tech International for several years prior to be becoming Office Manager for Sign Tracker. She has been around sign shops for over a decade (Dad owns the company), and has been a huge help in organizing the software venture.

Liz successfully started her own media business out of high school, is pursuing her BA in finance and recently completed barber school. She can balance a checkbook and give a buzz cut all at the same time!

Barbara was the Senior Accounting Clerk at Sign Tech for over three years. After the merger with Facility Solutions Group, she decided to leave the manufacturing side of the sign business. Her title at Sign Tracker is Accounting Manager where she takes care of the bookkeeping and any duties that James and Joe wish not to handle themselves.

She is currently completing her BA in Accounting at Texas State University and taking care of the fluff balls (aka poodles) that roam around the office.

Sam and Rose hail from California. At 8 months old they decided to make the journey to Austin, Texas. Cross their path and you just might get licked to death. There are worse ways to go! They enjoy napping on their mini couch and looking out the door for new people to play with during working hours. At home, you can find them sunning on the patio or snuggled together on Mom's pillow.
